My Weekend Will Be Perfect If BLANK Happens – #TQOTD

It’s time to fill in the blank about what would make your weekend perfect.

TEXT QUESTION OF THE DAY:
Fill in the Blank FRIDAY: My weekend will be perfect if ________ happens…

  • I got married last year 4 the first time at 47. I’d lived alone for my whole adult life before that. God, I miss organizing things the way I like to AND I miss my space/ alone time.
  • Honestly I miss having someone there for me, but I also have my family and friends. Being single is easier but can be lonely at times too.
  • It sounds sappy, but I’ve never been alone. Mike & I met in high school. We were high school sweethearts and dated all through college before we married. We have been together 37 years, 27 of them married. So I don’t miss a thing, but I thank God everyday for him and our family.
  • Brian says what he misses about being single is having the whole bed to himself.  I miss being able to watch my netflix shows without having to wait until he is home. Thanks.  NICK
  • I miss having someone to rub my shoulders and feet, after a long day.
  • I miss spending time with a significant other. It’s not fun going to things by yourself
  • Love the single life but I would say I miss the companionship. Just an adult to talk to at the end of the day.
  • I miss companionship. Having someone care about me and my well being.
  • When I was single I footloose and fancy free. I only had to make sure I was taken care of. In my marriage right now I miss my husband the way he used to be. I am lucky to still have him after his severe stroke but he is not the same. I have learned and grown so much over the last few years but want him and our relationship back as before.
  • I miss talking to someone every day who just cares about you. Who wants to be apart of your life and doing just the simple things to make you happy
  • 38 years and counting I tell him he’s my favorite husband truth be told he’s my only husband but he is my favorite ❤️ It’s the little things he does: kisses ???? me bye every morning, makes breakfast on Sunday, brings me coffee ☕️ tells me when it’s time for my next oil change, clears a walking path through the snow ❄️ in the backyard so I can walk the dog ???? always shares chocolate ???? with me ????????
  • I miss the freedom and not answering to anyone. I enjoy doing things by myself and now I’m told it’s selfish or I’m accused of cheating
  • I miss having someone to do things with. Yeah I can go with friends to events, but it’s not the same as having a significant other.
  • I miss having only one schedule to work around. It was never a problem to shift things around to make others work but now it’s such a chore to fit in all the events we have
  • I have been in a relationship for 12 years so I would say the one thing I miss about being single is arguing! I hate to argue so when I was single I didn’t have anyone to argue with!
  • Miss in a relationship: teamwork
  • I miss doing my own thing when I want to, being by myself whenever I want to. Not having to talk to anyone, having my own bed all the time with no Snoring Nightly Annoyance. But yeah yeah I love him, but I sure didn’t know what I was losing ????‍♀️????????????
  • Having time by myself in the bathroom. Married for 11 years and have a 9 year old, alone time in the bathroom has gone out the window. Would I trade it for the world, never. ????
  • I was married 20 years, miss having a spouse home at the end of the day but I enjoy not sharing the bed too…
  • I miss just having meeeeee time. Hubby and I have been together since we were 15… And lived next door etc to each other. He’s my best friend but damn a quiet house for a week without anybody would be amazing
  • I miss getting my way all the time and eating out at restaurants being cheaper
  • I miss kisses and snuggles and having an adventure buddy.
  • Love being single
  • Miss being able to do what I want and when I want!
  • I miss sleeping with my baby boy, that was our cuddle time.
  • I miss having someone else drive. I hate driving. Lol
  • I miss having my big azz bed to myself. ????????????
  • Haha I miss having the bed to myself lmfao ????????
  • I miss about being single… Is a CLEAN house. When it was just me I had a house that looked from a “country living” magazine. Not anymore….NOT anymore.
  • I’m single and I miss the companionship of being with someone and coming home to my significant other and relaxing and being able to talk with them
  • I miss having extra money and being able to smoke and just get Couched locked playing video games
  • TQOTD. I havn’t been single since senior year in high school???????? So.. I’d say making out with who I wanted to lol ????????????
  • I am divorced after bing married for 20+ years. I miss being a part of a team. Taking on all life challenges together. Sharing the highs and the lows.
  • About being single… I miss the excitement of someone new. The need to try hard for them, sorry to my hubbs who I should probably try harder for (ie makeup and not my jammies)
  • What I miss about being single is the silence. Not even about alone time but after a long day not having to come home and share about it or make chit chat.
  • I’m really very grateful for my boyfriend because he pretty much rocks that title to the max, but I do find myself missing the time I used to have to myself. Even when I was married, that guy wasn’t around much so I had a lot more opportunities to spend time in my own space doing what I wanted to do without having to consider someone else. #TQOTD
  • 1/2 What I miss about being in a relationship besides the balloon animals. Just someone to spend time with .and be there for the good and bad times… Brother in pain
  • #TQOTD I miss being single because I have never been single. I moved from one relationship to another and now i report all my moves to someone else for the rest of their life. Yes he will die before me so eventually I’ll get my chance
  • I miss everything about being in a relationship. Single has its perks but it’s lonely and non-rewarding.
  • What I miss about being single the most is not having to share. I want to be stingy with the money the bed the toys the tv food or my fireball when he runs outta drinks
  • What do I miss about being single? The gosh darn Peace and Quite! 1. Men talk just as much as women if not more, and granted most of the time it’s the wife hearing it all since none of his friends wants to hear him talk that much. 2. Men fill your head with constant useless content, that never was an issue when I was single. Like do I really need to know your biggest poop to date? No Dear I Don’t
  • Text question of the day: I married my high school sweetheart so I wish I could’ve had a real first date or I’ve always wanted to go on a blind date! But I love my husband and we’re not swingers so looks like I’m out of luck
  • The thing I miss the most about being in a relationship is having that one person to do things with…the one who you know loves you.  I’ve been single for a few years and now I’m back into the dating thing…dating sucks…seriously sucks.  I’m tired of the games…half truths and mostly lies.  I’m a fun girl but I don’t want marriage again but I do want someone who isn’t looking beyond our relationship to see what else is available. Sorry to ramble but this just came up last night and I needed to vent.  My friend is deciding if he wants to be in one relationship.  I’m not asking for marriage but I’m not your FWB.  I’ve got standards and I’m not having sex with someone who is sleeping with others.
  • TQOTD: The excitement leading up to hooking up with someone new.
  • Miss the single life could have balloon animals whenever Mary 10 years not so much lol
  • I love being single! I miss “Romantic time” but honestly the “on-standby, non committal” booty call is much easier anyway ????????????
  • The thing I miss most about being single is not being questioned about the weird things I do, one day hubby came home and asked me why I hadn’t cleaned anything as I’m sitting in the bathtub eating easy Mac binge watching the new season of handmaid’s tale.
  • I have been married 5 years and he used to be freaky and the last 3 he hasn’t been.  So I miss fun times with naughty toys.
