Drake’s Lawyers In UMG Defamation Suit Mention Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl Halftime Show

Drake’s ongoing legal battle with Universal Music Group (UMG) has taken a dramatic turn, with his team using Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl halftime performance as evidence of an orchestrated smear campaign. The rap mogul accuses UMG of backing Lamar’s diss track, “Not Like Us,” through manipulated streams and radio plays to damage his reputation and devalue his brand ahead of contract negotiations.

Drake isn’t just facing an industry feud—he’s dealing with real-world consequences. From an online storm branding him a pedophile to a shooting outside his Toronto mansion, the fallout has been severe. His legal team argues that delaying discovery only allows UMG to continue spreading defamation on a global stage.

As the April 2 pre-trial conference looms, all eyes are on this high-stakes battle between one of hip-hop’s biggest names and a corporate giant. Will Drake emerge victorious, or is this just the beginning of a deeper industry war? Stay tuned.

Liam Payne’s Alcohol Percentage at Time of His Death Revealed

Liam Payne’s toxicology report has shed heartbreaking light on the One Direction star’s final moments. At the time of his fatal fall in Buenos Aires, Payne’s blood alcohol level was a staggering 0.27%—over three times the legal limit—along with traces of cocaine metabolites and antidepressants in his system.

Two hotel employees, identified as Braian Paiz and Ezequiel Pereyra, are now facing serious legal consequences for allegedly supplying Payne with drugs. Prosecutors claim Paiz provided him with cocaine twice on Oct. 14, while Pereyra supplied him on Oct. 15 and 16. Security footage and witness testimony have linked the duo to drug transactions, and authorities seized nearly $244,000 from them.

Investigators have ruled out suicide, concluding that Payne was likely unconscious or semi-conscious when he fell. The official cause of death was attributed to 25 severe injuries, including internal and external hemorrhaging. With Paiz and Pereyra facing up to 15 years in prison, the case serves as a chilling reminder of the dark side of fame and substance abuse.
