Kennedy Cares Week May 12-16th

Kennedy Cares Week: Support Our Students with Pantry Donations – May 12–16

Kennedy Elementary is kicking off Kennedy Cares Week from May 12th through May 16th, and we need your help to uplift our students and families right here in our own school community. This year, we’re launching a snack, personal care, and paper goods drive — and everything collected will directly benefit families at Kennedy Elementary School.

Unlike past years where donations were distributed to outside organizations, this year’s drive is staying local. All items will be used to stock our on-site Kennedy Pantry, which helps meet the daily needs of students and families facing financial hardship.

What Kennedy’s collecting:

  • Nutritious snacks (granola bars, fruit snacks, crackers, etc.)

  • Personal hygiene items (toothpaste, deodorant, soap, feminine products)

  • Paper goods (toilet paper, paper towels, tissues)

How to Donate:

Drop off donations at Kennedy Elementary School during regular school hours from May 12–16 — look for the donation bins near the main entrance.
221 Meadowlark Dr, Madison, WI 53718

Want to help but don’t have time to shop? Scan our PTO QR code (available on flyers and at the school entrance) to make a monetary donation. 100% of the funds will go toward purchasing needed pantry items for Kennedy families.

Why It Matters:

When basic needs are met, students thrive. Your donation ensures no child has to go without essentials during the school day or at home. Whether it’s a snack to stay focused in class or hygiene products to feel confident — your support makes a real, immediate impact.
