Rick Ross Gets Street Named After Him in Birthplace of Clarksdale, MS

Rick Ross just got something even the biggest flex can’t top—a street named in his honor. On Juneteenth, the rap mogul returned to his birthplace of Clarksdale, Mississippi, to unveil “Rick Ross Way” alongside family, friends, and city leaders.

The celebration took place outside a WingStop at 300 Issaquena Ave, where Mayor Chuck Espy and other officials honored Ross for never forgetting his roots. While many associate Rozay with Miami’s lavish lifestyle or his mega events in Georgia, Clarksdale is where the journey began.

Ross reminded fans that the town still has his heart—and now it has his name carved in concrete. The city has also gained attention recently as the setting of the blockbuster film “Sinners,” further putting Clarksdale on the cultural map. From chart-topping albums to landmark dedications, Rick Ross continues to build a legacy that’s bigger than music.
