July 3rd: Festival Food & Fireworks

The fun kicks off Thursday July 3rd with the Mallards’ Festival Food Fireworks Night. After the 5:30 PM game, fans will be invited onto the field for a 25-minute fireworks extravaganza—one minute for each year the Mallards have been a part of Madtown! Expect a full-on celebration with on-field catch, family fun, and an unforgettable patriotic vibe. Fireworks light up the sky at 9:30 PM.

July 4th: Nightmares Game + More Fireworks

On Friday, July 4th, the Mallards’ alternate team—the Madison Nightmares—takes over for another evening of baseball and post-game fireworks. First pitch is at 6 PM, and once again, fans can head onto the field for catch and player meet-and-greets before the sky lights up.

July 5th: Neverminds Night – A Nirvana Tribute

Friday night gets grunge-tastic with the Mallards’ “Madison Neverminds” rebrand. It’s a one-night-only tribute to Nirvana’s iconic Nevermind album, which was partially recorded right here in Madison at Smart Studios. Expect limited-edition jerseys, exclusive Nirvana-inspired merch, and a Baby Maynard Snow Globe Giveaway for the first fans through the gates.

To top it off, the Duck Pond will serve up red, white, and blue popcorn and slushies, plus two creative culinary curveballs: s’mores burgers and s’mores nachos—only available July 3–5.
