In a heartfelt Instagram Story, Breezy wrote, “T-Pain is one of the GOATs of my generation!! GIVING YOU YOUR FLOWERS!!! PIONEER. LOVE YOU MY BROTHER,” punctuating the message with a red heart emoji.
The post comes just days after T-Pain went off on Drake during a candid appearance on the Crash Dummies podcast. In the episode, T-Pain criticized Drake for failing to follow his own advice about exiting the music game gracefully. “Drake said, ‘I want to be one of those people that gracefully bow out and not get kicked out,'” T-Pain recalled. But instead of stepping back, T-Pain argues, Drake has doubled down. “I’m not trying to impress y’all. Y’all don’t care if I live or die. Why should I keep trying to impress y’all?” he added, clearly frustrated.
Drake didn’t let the comments slide. He responded via Instagram: “This guy always had resentment for me,” followed by a crying laughing emoji. While Chris Brown never mentioned Drake directly, fans read his praise for T-Pain as a low-key endorsement in the midst of the drama.
