Rick Ross is preparing to release his third book and he is not holding anything back. The Miami rapper and entrepreneur recently revealed that his upcoming project Renaissance Of A Boss Notes From A Creative Reawakening will include a deeply personal story about a seizure he suffered in 2022 after taking psychedelic mushrooms.

According to Ross the incident happened while he was on a plane that was forced to make an emergency landing so he could receive medical attention. At the time he was watching Will Smith movie Emancipation but clarified that the film had nothing to do with the episode. Instead Ross admitted he was heavily under the influence of mushrooms and described himself as being deep in mushroom land when his body gave out.

The moment was a wake up call. Known for rapping about luxury power and boss mentality Ross uses this story to highlight vulnerability and self awareness. Experiencing a medical emergency at that level forced him to reassess his health priorities and creative direction.

Renaissance Of A Boss follows his previous books Hurricanes A Memoir and The Perfect Day to Boss Up both of which became best sellers. This new release promises to be more introspective pushing beyond business advice into personal transformation. Ross even hinted the book will feel like a psychedelic mind warp reflecting the mental and emotional shifts he experienced during that period.
