Join FPC Live, Witkins Realty, the Levy Giving Fund, and 93.1 JAMZ for this year’s Back to School Backpack Giveaway at the Alliant Energy Center.
We’re partnering with JP Hair Design’s 18th Annual Back to School Haircuts Event to help local students start the school year prepared, confident, and ready to succeed.
Families can stop by between 12 noon and 4 PM to receive free backpacks and school supplies on a first come, first served basis while supplies last.
Children who need a free haircut should reserve an appointment in advance (Linked below)
If you’re only coming for a backpack, no registration is required. Just stop by the Alliant Energy Center between noon and 4 PM, and if we’ve got them, we’ll hook you up.

Established in 2019 &Serving the greater Madison Community, The Back 2 School Backpack Give-Away has provided more than 2400 Backpacks with supplies!

Eligibility and Supplies Included
- Elementary and middle school aged children (Grades 4K-8) enrolled in MMSD (Madison Metro School District) / Greater Madison Area
- Average of 25/30 Supplies included with each Backpack
