American Family Children's Hospital Radiothon 2024
The 19th annual American Family Children’s Hospital Radiothon benefitting the UW Health Kids is May 8th, 9th and 10th!
Tune in each day from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
During the three-day Radiothon, sponsored by Settlers Best Credit Union, patients treated at the children’s hospital and their families will tell stories of survival and courage. Learn about kids you may know who have waged courageous battles against cancer, birth defects, kidney disease, trauma injuries, and other hurdles.
How can you become a Champion for Kids?
· You become a champion by donating just $15 a month!
The money you donate will help save lives!
Here are just some of the ways donations have been used in past years:
· Funded a Child Life Specialist position in the Emergency Department to help patients and their families cope with fear, pain, and anxiety.
· Provided supplies for the Positive Image Center which offers wigs, hats, and salon services to patients free of charge.
· Provided gas cards and transportation resources for families who need help getting to and from the hospital, including those who need treatments several times each week.
· Supported Tyler’s Place sibling care, so parents can stay with their hospitalized child while the siblings are taken care of in a nurturing and therapeutic environment.
· Provided dinners for thousands of moms, dads, and patient visitors.

Ride The Drive 2024

It's the return of parks and open streets at Ride The Drive 2024, presented by Madison Parks.
What is Ride The Drive?
It’s thousands of happy healthy people coming together to experience parks and open streets in a single, one-day, free, community event. Since the inaugural Ride the Drive in 2009, this event continues to celebrate Madison’s commitment to a healthy, active lifestyle focusing on the environmental and economic impacts and the importance of social integration. Ride the Drive, organized by the City of Madison Parks Division, is more than 4 miles of city streets closed to motor vehicles and park hubs along the way offering activities, food and fun for all ages.
How Can You Participate?
Be a Volunteer
We invite volunteers to help with various roles, including setup, intersection guides, cleanup, and staffing booths. Each volunteer will receive a 2024 Ride the Drive t-shirt.

Be a Sponsor
As a sponsor for Madison Parks’ flagship event, your company or
